Timeless elegance and style
It's important to remember that vintage wall murals are not the same as retro wall murals, and this one we've already covered, but to also keep in mind that they do not depict things from a century ago. Usually, the scope of years is anywhere between 20 to 90 years back in time – for anything older, it's worth it to look for antique wall murals. That being said, vintage motifs are great for introducing the old-fashioned, traditional vibe. These days, it's hard to find something truly timeless – the modern production is usually focusing on temporary, short-term objects of immediate pleasure. This is true for all aspects of our lives, like food, art, clothes, and even interior design. Only by incorporating something that proved its worth over dozens of years we can be sure that it won't go out of fashion after one season. And that's exactly why vintage wall murals are so appropriate for anyone who would like to be stylish, yet original – they are not something just anyone has, and they are not going away anytime soon, of that you can be sure.
Use with caution
Vintage patterns aren't something you should just try on a whim – we'd say they are best for people who already tried their fare share of wall murals. However, if you are certain you'd like to incorporate them when designing an interior, we'll try our best to help you out. First, you have to remember that they tend to be somewhat dimmer than wall murals with modern themes. That's because back in the days, all the colours were produced with the use of natural traditionally acquired bleaches. Think of an old TV – not black and white, but not exactly LED yet. Therefore, apply such wall murals with caution, and don't overuse the darker shades, as you could easily overwhelm your interior with them, and instead of a fashionable apartment, you'd get a sad one. We suggest getting a sample of the material first, or at least a sample of the colours, and trying it out on one of your walls. However, if you just use common sense and pay attention to what you're doing, we're sure you'll do just fine – and hey, it's not like a wall mural can't be instantly replaced with another one, right?
