It is impossible to determine the exact date of the beginning of graffiti. Even in ancient times it was easy to find inscriptions on the walls which helped to express the emotions of nations. However, it is stated that the first forms of graffiti art appeared in the ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Graffiti in the form that we see today were created in the late 1960s and 1970s. It was the time when flow masters (otherwise known as markers) were introduced to New York, the global capital of hip hop. Also, at the beginning, these were the main tools for every writer.
